Critics slam Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump for ‘On The Nose’ Halloween costumes

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump wore Halloween costumes Thursday that were literally garbage.

The two oldest sons of former president and current GOP nominee Donald Trump embraced the defiant theme after their father’s recent campaign stunt as a garbage man.

In response to conservative faux outrage over President Joe Biden’s alleged remark about “garbage” Trump supporters — as the White House clarified later was a reference to the rhetoric spewed at Trump’s recent rally in Madison Square Garden, and not an insult directed at Trump voters themselves — Donald Trump Jr. carried a trash bag decorated with various pieces of trash, topped with a “Make America Great Again” hat and a Trump 2024 flag.

“Embrace their hate and own it. So VOTE!” he wrote on social media. “I’m fine being trash like the rest of you deplorable and irredeemable @patriots!!! Love you all, hope you have fun tonight!”

Eric Trump shared a similar outfit, caption for a family photo: “American ‘Garbage’.” He also carried a garbage bag with a MAGA hat.

Critics on social media mocked their style choice as a Halloween self-possession.
