One in custody after stabbing at southwest Omaha Walgreens

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One person is in custody in connection with a stabbing in southwest Omaha Sunday afternoon.

Bria Crawford-Scott, 32, was taken into custody for domestic violence, use of a weapon to commit a felony and two misdemeanors, according to an update Monday.

The incident happened at 5:54 PM in a Walgreens parking lot near 135th and Q streets.

In the update, police said the victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Officers say they found Crawford-Scott hiding in the bathroom of a nearby restaurant.

The investigation is ongoing.
