BYU Football Drops Hype Video For Alamo Bowl Against Colorado

SAN ANTONIO – We are hours away from BYU football kicking off against Colorado in the 2024 Alamo Bowl.

It’s been an eventful week in the Alamo City as the two Big 12 programs prepare for what has been considered the best non-College Football Playoff Bowl game of the year.

Hours before kickoff against Colorado, the BYU football team posted a hype video on social media with the caption “ONE LAST RIDE COUGAR NATION.”

Many of the players featured in the hype video for Saturday’s Alamo Bowl include BYU’s senior class. Players like offensive lineman Connor Pay and defensive lineman Tyler Batty will play their final game in a BYU football uniform.

No. 17 BYU looks to close out the 2024 season with an 11th win. The Cougars enter the Alamo Bowl with a 10-2 overall record.

If they achieve an 11th win, it would be the second time in the Kalani Sitake era that BYU has achieved 11 wins in a season. The last time that happened was in 2020.

Colorado is ranked No. 23 in the match. The Buffs are looking for their 10th win in 2024 and their first bowl win in 20 years. Since Colorado won the Houston Bowl in 2004, BYU has won 10 bowl games.

Saturday night, KSL Sports will cover the All-Big 12 clash between BYU and Colorado inside the Alamodome.
