Dense fog this morning with rain today and tonight

Good morning and happy Friday! We wake up to another morning of widespread fog over Minnesota and Wisconsin. Areas of fog are locally dense this morning and a dense fog advisory is in place now until 10am.

Temps this morning are thankfully above freezing in the mid-30s, so widespread slick spots aren’t in the forecast), but you still need to watch out for a few icy spots this morning.

Scattered showers are in the forecast today across the eastern half of Minnesota, with light showers becoming more steady throughout the day. Most of eastern Minnesota to Wisconsin could receive 0.25″ to 0.75″ of precipitation early tomorrow morning.

Fog is likely again tonight and temperatures will remain mild in the low 40s today through your weekend forecast.
