George Pickens and Jawaan Taylor active, Chris Jones and Justin Fields inactive in Pittsburgh

The Steelers will have wide receiver George Pickens in the lineup for Christmas, but they won’t have quarterback Justin Fields.

As expected, Pickens returns to action after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury. Pickens did not have an injury designation on the team’s final injury report prior to their home game against the Steelers.

However, quarterback Justin Fields is not ready to return to the field. Fields was listed as questionable with the stomach injury that sidelined him last week and is inactive again Wednesday.

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. and wide receiver Ben Skowronek was ruled out Tuesday. The other Steelers inactives are linebacker Preston Smith and defensive lineman Dean Lowry.

On the Kansas City side, defensive tackle Chris Jones is out with a calf injury, but right tackle Jawaan Taylor is good to go after being listed as questionable with a knee injury. Defensive back Chamarri Conner and left tackle DJ Humphries were ruled out for the second straight game, while defensive end Josh Uche, offensive lineman CJ Hanson, tackle Ethan Driskill and defensive end Malik Herring were scratched Wednesday.
