Mariah Carey’s ‘Christmas’ sets new streaming song chart no. 1 record

Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” sets a new record for the most time spent at No. 1 on Billboard‘s streaming songs chart since its inception in 2013, spending a record 21st week atop the number on December 28.

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” reigns with 48 million official U.S. streams earned in the week ending Dec. 19, a 13% boost, according to Luminate.

Leading for a 21st week, it tops the previous streaming song’s lifetime record, which was held by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. The song reigned in 20 pictures as of April 2019.
