Anthony Davis’ Scream for Refs’ Attention Gets Hilarious Reaction From Former Teammate Malik Beasley, Fans Go Wild

We’ve seen Anthony Davis get to the free throw line quite often. We didn’t mean to say he was a foul-baiter, but the big man’s aggressive physical play naturally led him to that path. Tonight he reached the line against the Detroit Pistons, but there was something more to it. And Pistons’ guard Malik Beasley certainly didn’t like it, and the duo had a moment of back and forth that left the NBA world hyped.

At the end of the first quarter, AD battled close to the rim against two Pistons defenders, Paul Reed and Simone Fontecchio. The star center attempted a hard shot and it didn’t go in, but he managed to draw a shooting foul after screaming “Ayy”. Immediately on the other end, Beasley, frustrated with the call, took it up on Davis and said: “Just because you scream AYYY doesn’t mean it’s a mistake.”

Fans were immediately all over the place, taking out both Anthony Davis and Malik Beasley. First, some sections of fans appreciated the new Pistons guard for calling the big man. In particular, he has played with AD for a short period in the 2022-23 season after being traded from the Utah Jazz. So we can say that the 28-year-old guard would know a thing or two about Brow’s offensive strategies. In response to that line, one fan wrote, “Malik a real one for this.” Well, we certainly can’t buy this fan’s word as there are conflicting opinions as well. Let’s take a look at them.
