Inter’s home meeting with Como on Monday will be the perfect chance for the Nerazzurri to see Nico Paz again as they reportedly plot a strategy to bring him to the San Siro in the future.

The attacking midfielder has impressed in Serie A since joining Cesc Fabregas’ side last summer and Biscione have been keeping a close eye on the 20-year-old, with their vice-president Javier Zanetti recently scouting the player in person.

However, Inter know that Real Madrid can still activate a €12 million buy-back clause to bring the youngster back to the Santiago Bernabeu, but they will want to be prepared if the Spanish giants decide not to.

Inter could offer a young striker to Como in the Nico Paz deal

As reported by la Gazzetta dello Sport, Paz’s profile fits perfectly with the vision of new owners Oaktree, who look to invest in young and talented players.

The Nerazzuri feel they could get a head start in the race to sign the Argentina international by including Francesco Pio Esposito, who is currently on loan at Serie B side La Spezia, where he has scored nine goals in 16 games.

Furthermore, Inter believe Paz’s connection with their captain Lautaro Martinez, also a team-mate in the national team, could make a difference in convincing the former Real Madrid star to join Simone Inzaghi’s side.

The Argentine scored his second Serie A goal of the season in his side’s 2-0 win over Roma last week and also has four assists to his name from 15 games.
