She told Mirror: ‘She’s very unpredictable, you never know what she’s going to do next thanks to (EastEnders writer) Simon Ashdown. She is a joy to play.

‘People love to hate her. I don’t know, after this they might just hate her and want her gone.’

The move may have come as a surprise to viewers as Cindy seemed to have turned over a new leaf and become a less toxic person in the square.
