RECRUITING: 4-star TE Caleb Tafua commits to Texas A&M Aggies

If there’s one thing we’re learning about Texas A&M Offensive Coordinator Collin Klein, it’s that he can’t have enough tight ends. That trend continued Saturday as the Aggies landed their second TE commit in the 2026 class as the four-star recruit Caleb Tafua committed to A&M.

Tafua is ranked no. 241 recruit nationally, no. 27 plays in California and no. 11 tight end, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He is the ninth commit for A&M in 2026 recruiting classand the other from California. That’s especially notable considering the Aggies also landed three California signees in the 2025 class.

The 2026 Aggie recruiting class is currently ranked no. 2 in the country (although volume is as much a driver in that as anything this early in the recruiting cycle).
