The Eagles can win the NFC East with a Week 17 win over the Cowboys

The Eagles will have to wait another week for a shot to win the NFC East Division title.

Sunday’s 36-33 loss to the Commanders ended the Eagles’ 10-game winning streak and kept a glimmer of light open for Washington’s division title hopes. Washington was hoping to clinch a playoff spot with a win and some help, but those plans have also been delayed for another week.

Philadelphia’s path to the NFC East title remains simple: Beat (or tie) the Cowboys next Sunday, or get help from the Atlanta Falcons, who travel to Washington next Sunday night. A Falcons win or tie would also give the Eagles the division crown.

Here’s a look at who could clinch a playoff spot this weekend and how.

The Chiefs can win the AFC’s no. 1 seed, a first-round bye and home field advantage with a Bills loss or tie.

For the rest of the NFC, here’s how the playoff picture looks in the standings. (Note: The four division winners receive the first four seeds in the playoffs):
