FIRST LOOK AT ITV REBOOT AS CLASSIC GAMESHOW RETURNS FOR CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

Freddie Flintoff is hosting a reboot of the classic game show Bullseye this Christmas on ITV.

Bullseye is one of the UK’s most successful and best-loved family game shows, and in this brand new Christmas special, each team of players will consist of an amateur darts player, known as ‘the thrower’, and their team partner, ‘the connoisseur’.

They will combine their skills, throw darts at different game boards while answering the questions correctly for ‘points and prizes’. Luke Littler joins Freddie Flintoff as the show’s celebrity guest cast.

Freddie Flintoff said: “I love darts and Bullseye was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I can’t quite believe I’m hosting this Christmas special. You can’t beat a bit of Bully!”

Michael Mannes, Managing Director at 12 Yard commented: “We are delighted to have acquired the rights to Bullseye, one of the most iconic game shows of all time. And the timing couldn’t be better given the popularity of darts. Freddie is the perfect host for it, and we can’t wait for the show to be back on ITV.”

Katie Rawcliffe, Director of Entertainment & Daytime Commissioning at ITV added: “Bullseye is back and we can’t wait to welcome Freddie Flintoff back to ITV too. It’s a real treat to have both as key parts of our Christmas program on ITV1 and ITVX this year.”

Bullseye airs Sunday, December 22 at 18.00 on ITV1 and ITVX.
