Broncos, Colts, Dolphins must lose

The Cincinnati Bengals still have a slim chance to make the NFL playoffs after Los Angeles Chargers‘ 34-27 Thursday Night Football win against Denver Broncos.

The Chargers moved closer to a postseason berth with the win and now have a 97 percent chance of making the playoffs.

NFL.com upgraded Bengals Playoff Probability to 8 per cent.

Here’s what needs to happen for Cincinnati:

The Bengals still need to win their final three games of the season: at home against Cleveland on Sunday; home vs. Denver on Saturday, Dec. 28; and at Pittsburgh in Week 18.

The Bengals also need the Broncos to lose in Denver to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18.

The Bengals also need Miami Dolphins and that Indianapolis Colts to lose at least one more game.

Miami’s remaining schedule includes San Francisco at home; in Cleveland; and at the New York Jets.

Indianapolis’ remaining schedule includes Tennessee at home; New York Giants on the road; and Jacksonville at home.
