Phoenix lottery ticket wins $2.6 million, prize still unclaimed

PHOENIX — Pull out your latest lottery ticket because one worth $2.6 million was drawn Wednesday at a Phoenix gas station but remains unclaimed, the Arizona Lottery said Friday.

The Select Jackpot ticket was sold at a QuikTrip located at 4725 E. Baseline Road.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 5, 8, 11, 13, 19 and 24.

As with all Arizona Lottery sweepstakes, winners have 180 days from announcement to claim their prize or the money will be forfeited.

How do I play the Phoenix Lottery?

The Pick Jackpot has draws every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. Each ticket costs $1.

The odds of winning a jackpot in the game are 1 in 7,059,052, according to Arizona Lottery officials.

Ticket buyers can also use EXTRA!, or profit booster, for their Pick Jackpot gameplay.

$1 EXTRA! addition can add up to $250 and a $2 EXTRA! purchase up to $500. You will earn six additional numbers and if someone matches your Pick numbers, you will collect cash amounts equal to the matching numbers.

Valley residents are encouraged to enter the Mega Millions despite any Friday the 13th superstitions they may possess.

The jackpot has increased to $695 million and it’s not too late to play.

Shops stop selling tickets at 7:59 PM Arizona time on drawing nights.

Seven have won the Friday the 13th Mega Millions jackpot in the game’s history, according to a press release.
