Strong cold front, chance of storms overnight Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth

A strong cold front will move across North Texas overnight Tuesday, possibly bringing more rain followed by cooler, drier and windier weather.

Patchy fog that lingered over Dallas-Fort Worth early Tuesday should clear by late morning, with conditions either partly sunny or partly cloudy for the rest of the day. High temperatures will climb into the 60s and 70s.

The storms are not expected to be violent, but could be strong and bring the threat of gusts and small hail, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

After a patchy frost in some areas early in the day, Thursday is expected to bring sunny and pleasant weather, according to the KXAS-TV (NBC5) forecast.
