Justin Liles: Snowfall, cold and holiday travel

Snow, cold and holiday travel

This will be the week of weak shear systems. Light snow will continue tonight. Winds will still be gusty, but temperatures will remain on the milder side. There will be a few chances of light snow this week. Thursday will bring more significant snowfall with 4-6 inches across central Minnesota and Wisconsin and lesser amounts elsewhere. Currently, the amount of snowfall and location is not determined. Another quick round of snow is possible this weekend. Gusts of wind will be felt with each round of snowfall.
