YouTube sensation CoryxKenshin has returned after a nearly two-year hiatus and unveiled his ambitious new project, a manga titled Monsters We Make. Known for his engaging content, Cory now aims to bring his story to life on screen by partnering with leading animation studios.

The creator uploaded a video on December 13 announcing his comeback and the manga’s release, catapulting him to YouTube’s Trending page. In a follow-up video on December 16, Cory revealed his “ultimate goal” – securing an anime adaptation for Monsters We Make.

Cory approached top-tier studios including Netflix, Crunchyroll and MAPPA, known for their work on Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan. He encouraged them to take the chance and emphasized his belief in the manga’s potential. “I feel like Monsters We Make is going to be special,” Cory said. “Netflix, Crunchyroll — Mappa, I’m looking at you. Those who wish to make their bids do so early. I think I have something.”

The YouTuber emphasized the importance of proving fans’ interest and encouraged viewers to support the manga by purchasing a copy. He also teased an unknown new project in development, adding to the excitement among his fan base.

This isn’t Cory’s first big venture outside of YouTube. He previously appeared in Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s film, showing his versatility as a content creator.
