Grant DuBose in stable condition after being transported to a Houston hospital

Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose was transported to Memorial Hermman Medical Center in Houston with a serious injury.

The Dolphins announced that he is in stable condition and has been ruled out with a head injury.

DuBose was injured after a hit by Texans safety Calen Bullock, who was penalized 15 yards for a hit on a defenseless receiver. DuBose appeared to go into the fencing stance, a sign of a serious head injury.

Medical personnel worked on DuBose for 11 minutes, removing his shoulder pads, cutting off his jersey and unscrewing his face mask. DuBose appeared to be connected to an EKG machine and was on oxygen as he left on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance.

He was also wearing a neck brace.

This was DuBose’s first game since Week 2, when he injured his shoulder and landed on injured reserve. The Dolphins claimed him off waivers in August.
