Embiid leaves early with facial injury vs. Pacers

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been ruled out for the rest of the game against the Indiana Pacers after taking a hit to the right side of his face, the team announced.

Embiid suffered the injury late in the second quarter when Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin hit him in the face. The former MVP left the game and did not return to the court after the break. He will undergo further tests.
