“The nicest man in stand-up” is getting into the Christmas spirit with his Christmas comedy special, to be aired Thursday night on CBS.

“Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas,” a variety show featuring Bargatze’s stand-up and some musical guest appearances, was taped at Music City’s Grand Ole Opry House in November — a place close to the Nashville-born comedian’s heart.

The special was produced with “Saturday Night Live” creator Lorne Michaels and is Bargatze’s first primetime television show. The collaboration, set to run for about an hour, follows Bargatze’s two hosting stints on “SNL” in 2023 and 2024.
