FHP: Fatal crash in Orange County leads to DUI arrest

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – One woman is dead and another woman has been arrested after a fatal crash early Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. on South Orange Blossom Trail just south of Skyview Dr.

FHP says a woman crossed the street and entered the path of a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Alyssa Winters. The woman was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Winters was then arrested for DUI.

The victim has not been identified. FHP says the case remains under investigation.
