Minshew’s injury came after Panthers tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders was carted off the field after landing on his head.

Sanders had caught a pass from Bryce Young when he was hit low by Chiefs defensive back Trent McDuffie.

Sanders then flipped in the air and landed on the back of his head outside the field before trainers ran to attend to him in a terrifying scene.

And Commanders running back Austin Ekeler was also seen lying motionless on the field after taking a huge hit to the head from Dallas’ Damone Clark – before also slamming his helmet onto the turf.

Commanders coach Dan Quinn confirmed after the game that Ekeler had suffered a concussion.
