Quarterback Aidan O’Connell activated from Reserve/Injured list ahead of Raiders-Chiefs Week 13 matchup

The Las Vegas Raiders have activated QB Aidan O’Connell from the Reserve/Injured list and, in a corresponding move, placed CB Jakorian Bennett and QB Gardner Minshew II on the Reserve/Injured list, the team announced Thursday.

O’Connell, a 2023 fourth-round draft pick, has appeared in four games (two starts) for the Raiders this season and has completed 52 of 82 pass attempts (63.4 percent) for 455 yards and two touchdowns. He was placed on the Reserve/Injured list after suffering a right thumb injury in Week 7’s contest against the Los Angeles Rams.

In addition, the team signed WR Terrace Marshall to the active roster.

Marshall was signed to the Raiders’ practice squad on Oct. 22 and has been elevated to one game this season. Previously, the receiver played three seasons with the Carolina Panthers, who selected him in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Ahead of Friday’s matchup against the Chiefs, the Raiders activated CB Kyu Blu Kelly and RB Sincere McCormick from the practice squad.
