Boise State gets great spots on short yardage plays. Jeanty to 4 on first down. Caple’s 9 yard pass on the right sideline, first down. Ball at OSU 30. Jeanty from right guard for 2. Jeanty 11 carry, 40 yards. Incomplete pass. Third and 8. Maddox escapes the pocket and runs for a first down. Officials review says it was a 7 yard run, so fourth-and-1 from the OSU 21. Madsen sneaks in for the first down as the Beavers only have 3 on the line. Jeanty blasts up the middle for 11. First and goal at the OSU 7. OREGON STATE FIRST DRIVE

Zachary Card returns the ball past the 25, but it is pushed back to the 12 due to a penalty. This drive is off to a really strong start. False start before first snap. Ball at the OSU 7. Gulbranson throws incomplete, deep sideline pass to Trent Walker. Swing pass to Hankerson, who drops at 5 on third and 17. Another false start. Third and 19 from the OSU 3. Hankerson runs for the 8 to give Josh Green some breathing room on the punt. Broncos take over at BSU 47.

BOISE STATE FIRST DRIVE

Broncos return the opening kickoff 5 yards deep to the 19. First play goes to Jeanty for 4. Jeanty then goes right for the 16 and a first down to the BSU 39. Jeanty then for 7 and 3 yards for another first down to the BSU 49 .Incomplete pass, then Dubar for 2. Third and 8, pass interference on Vadrawale. The pass would have been incomplete. Patterson comes from behind to hold Jeanty to 1 on first down. Ball at the BSU 33. Incomplete pass on second down. Third and 9 from the OSU 33. Ford catches an 8 yard pass. Fourth and 1. Jeanty for 1, barely makes the first down. It was a pretty generous place. Jeanty 8 carries, 32 yards after getting no gain on first down. Lauder slides off the line, wide open on the sideline, catches a 10-yard pass for a first down. Ball at the OSU 14. Jeanty up the middle for the 3. Austin Bolt catches a little crosser and it’s an easy 11-yard touchdown. 14 plays, 81 yards, drive takes 7:04. Boise State 7, Oregon State 0
