‘Dino Crisis’, ‘Resident Evil: Director’s Cut’ now available on PlayStation Store

Despite the fact that Ghostface has arrived Mortal Kombat 1 last week, things may not bode well for future DLC for the bloody fighter after Chaos reigns enlargement. Reportedly, further DLC may be at risk.

According to r/MortalKombatleaks user _FateUnknown_, which has previously been right about the disclosure of information about Mortal Kombat content, NetherRealm has decided to scrap a third Kombat pack of DLC characters and a second story expansion for Mortal Kombat 1 due to the poor sales of those Chaos reigns expansion, and the expansion’s general negative reception due to a lack of content for the price.

Further along in the thread, _FateUnknown_ states that while additional content has been canceled, “maybe a cameo fighter or two will make it” later, as they were already being worked on.

It’s not the first time Mortal Kombat 1 has faced criticism from fans and their wallets. Last year’s Seasonal Fatalities received backlash from fans for NetherRealm charging $10 for the Halloween death alone. NetherRealm pivoted and made the full bundle of three deaths available for $10, with those who had purchased Halloween Fatality getting the extra deaths at no extra cost.

Obviously, none of this has been confirmed by Warner Bros, NetherRealm or Mortal Kombat creates Ed Boon. Making things even more interesting is the fact that _FateUnknown_’s Reddit account has been deleted.

Meanwhile, we’re still waiting for the final two guest fighters to arrive, with T-1000 with the actor’s voice and likeness Robert Patrickand Conan the Barbarianwho looks like an actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Neither character’s release date has been confirmed.
