Carol Vorderman slams ITV for giving platform to controversial star | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

This Morning’s Cat Deeley and Andi Peters engaged in a candid chat with controversial adult entertainer Bonnie Blue, who at the age of 25 spoke about her work and defended her actions on Tuesday’s show – and Carol Vorderman is not happy about it.

The debate was sparked when Cat asked the audience: “Is she just a content creator making money or a dangerous predator that needs to be stopped? Bonnie joins us now.”

Ashley James also appeared on the show to give her perspective on Bonnie’s career and later shared the clip on her Instagram account.

In the comments section, Ashley’s celebrity friends, including Carol Vorderman, praised her for the debate but also questioned why ITV had hosted Bonnie in the first place.

Carol wrote: “You handled this so well Ashley. But it shouldn’t even be a normal conversation.”

“She will have welcomed her platform on ITV. It will have boosted her reach and her income. I really care about generations younger than mine.

“The conversations leading to Project 2029 (the next election) are being shaped by the extremes,” she concluded.

While former Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman wrote: “Totally agree with you too. We talked about this on our podcast and I share your opinion.

“I couldn’t care less if every hole in her body is getting bad within an inch of her life. But her obsession with preying on barely legal teenage boys is VERY bizarre and takes advantage of them by filming it for her content that she makes a lot of money from is even worse.

“I wish you would have challenged her on that! She dodged every question though!”

Bonnie admitted that she was initially motivated by the financial rewards of the sex industry, but later grew to appreciate the “educational side of things”.

Bonnie shared, “Once I got into it and educated myself about the industry, I realized not only how much enjoyment I got from it, but also how much of a gap there is in educational content online.”

Bonnie asked the question, do we want the younger generation to see crude content online and then try to replicate it themselves, which could be extremely dangerous.

Ashley stated, “My point here is what do you do to teach young boys and girls that they don’t just exist, women don’t exist to please men?

“Men don’t have the right to cheat with partners, but how do you also teach young boys that male pleasure is not the ultimate? There is female pleasure, there is respect, what do you want to teach young men that they don’t just have a automatic right to sex?”

When she questioned whether her guest had seen one of her videos, Ashley revealed that she hadn’t and began talking about Bonnie when the creator said, “No, sorry, I was listening to you.”

Ashley replied: “I’m not aggressive towards you, you’re aggressive back. You use terms like ‘women like me’. I’m asking you questions.”
