More than £18 million worth of vouchers still need to be used before the end of the month.

Shoppers in the Clubcard scheme earn vouchers by using them in store or online with each 150 points worth £1.50.

These coupons can be used on your weekly food shop and at any of Tesco’s partners, such as PizzaExpress and Hotels.com.

Any vouchers used with a Tesco partner are also worth double their normal value.

You can also use vouchers to get money on your Tesco Mobile bill.

But be aware that vouchers expire after two years, so you can lose them if you don’t use them in time.

Fortunately, you can extend their expiry either online or through the Tesco Clubcard app.

To do this, simply make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page and the remaining balance will be transferred back as points.

You can then convert your points into vouchers, which will be valid for another two years.

Choose something with a low value, such as a 50p restaurant voucher.

How does the Tesco Club Card work?

You earn points as you shop, which can then be converted into vouchers for money on food or at Tesco’s partners.

You earn one point for every £1 spent and each point is then worth 1p.

So 150 points gives you £1.50 and you need to spend £150 to get 150 points.

You must have a minimum of 150 points to request a voucher.

Any vouchers are worth their face value when used in store at Tesco.

But you can double their value by using them at one of the supermarket chain’s partners.

There are over 100 partners you can use your Clubcard points with, including RAC, Disney+ and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

Points spent with partners used to be worth triple, but Tesco changed this to double last year.

Any coupons transferred to Reward Partner codes will expire after six months.

Loyalty cardholders also get access to over 8,000 items for less through Clubcard pricing.

What can I get with the Tesco Clubcard?

TESCO’s Clubcard scheme allows customers to earn points while they shop.

These points can then be converted into vouchers for money on food in the supermarket or discounts elsewhere such as restaurants and days out.

Every time you spend £1 in store and online, you get a point when you scan your club card.

Drivers who use the loyalty card get one point for every two liters spent on fuel.

One point is equal to 1p, so 150 points gives you e.g. a £1.50 discount voucher.

You can double their value when you exchange them for discounts with “reward partners”.

For example, £12 worth of vouchers can be exchanged for a £24 3-month subscription to Disney+.

Or you can exchange points worth 50p for £1 to spend at Hungry Horse pubs.

Where you can use them changes regularly and you can check the Tesco website to see what’s available now.

Tesco customers can also get Clubcard prices when they have the loyalty card.

The discounted items change regularly, and without a Clubcard you pay a higher price.

These Clubcard prices are usually marked on the shelves alongside the non-member price.

But it’s worth noting that just because it’s discounted doesn’t necessarily make it the cheapest, and you should compare prices to find the best deal.

You can sign up for a Tesco Clubcard in store or online via the Tesco website.

How to recover lost Clubcard points

Many people lose or forget to use their Tesco vouchers, but there is an easy way to get back the last two years of unused vouchers.

Here’s exactly how to find out if you have unused vouchers.

The first step is to log into your Tesco Clubcard account on Tesco.com or via the Clubcard app.

You must have your name, email address and Clubcard number to hand.

Once logged in, navigate to “My Clubcard Account” and then click on “Vouchers” to see a full list of any vouchers you still need to use.

You can use the code included in your voucher to spend online.

If you want to redeem them in store, print them out and take them with you.

In other Tesco news, the retailer announced its Christmas 2024 meal deal earlier this month.

Plus, Tesco has revealed plans to open 150 new locations during the next three years in a convenience store.
