Green Bay Packers legend LeRoy Butler made sure Turkeygate wouldn’t happen again.

A year after Jordan Love was dismissed with the usual turkey leg during the Packers’ Thanksgiving Day win in Detroit, Butler made up for Thanksgiving parody of 2023 in a big way on Thursday evening.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer took issue with the chef’s decision to give Love not just one turkey leg, but two turkey legs after the Packers’ 30-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Butler was shown throughout the NBC broadcast of the Packers’ game against the Dolphins cooking in a kitchen.

After the Packers’ convincing win to improve to 9-3, Butler brought out a platter of turkey legs and sides, including some homemade mac ‘n cheese that he said was an uncle’s recipe.

He served the feast for the game’s three players – Love, running back Josh Jacobs and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie.

“It’s delicious,” Love said after raising the turkey legs to the fans. “It is very good.”

When asked about his desire to get a turkey leg after the snub last year, Love said, “We were very motivated. We needed a turkey leg this year.”
