Ben Affleck Takes Break From Filming To Spend Thanksgiving With Kids (Exclusive Source)

Ben Affleck is taking a break to celebrate Thanksgiving with his kids.

The Oscar winner is currently in the middle of filming his upcoming film TEAR with pal Matt Damon, spotted on set earlier this week in Los Angeles.

A source tells PEOPLE, “He’s very happy with life. He enjoys working. He wants to spend Thanksgiving with his kids.”

Affleck and Damon are also producers on the crime thriller TEARwhich is also recorded in New Jersey and also features Teyana Taylor and The Flash‘s Sasha Calle.

A set insider says Affleck has been “in a great mood and super fun to work with.”

“They (Affleck and Damon) are a great team. You can tell they enjoy working together. Ben looks good too. He seems to be in a good place,” says the insider.

Affleck, 52, shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, who turns 19 on Dec. 1, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. On Wednesday, Nov. 27, Garner, 52, revealed that their family dog ​​Birdie died shortly after Violet returned home from college for the holidays.

“The vet told us that dogs often hang around until their person comes home from college, and we think Birdie did just that, so we could pat her fluffy ears and thank her for being the best dog in the world,” says the actress. wrote on Instagram.

Lopez, 55, is mother to 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony. A source said in August that Unstoppable The actor is still “extremely close” to Affleck’s children, while he “hasn’t been in contact with her children.” The couple has yet to finalize their divorce.
