Chad Michael Murray brings kids to every signed acting job, here’s why

Chad Michael Murray wants to “be there” for his family, especially the kids.

The actor recently shared insight into his life as a devoted father to his three children, a 9-year-old son, a 6-year-old daughter and a baby girl born in August 2023, whom he shares with his wife, actress Sarah Rømer.

The One Tree Hill alum affectionately refers to his family of five as The packagean apt nickname for their tight dynamic.

Murray revealed that his family travels together for every project he takes on.

“I want to be there,” he said of his commitment to fatherhood. “I have to be there for my daughter’s first steps. I had to take her trick-or-treating for the first time.”

He added proudly, “And she crushed it!”

During the filming of Sullivan’s Crossing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Murray embraced the local community while balancing work and family.

He also coaches his son’s soccer team, which he said is headed for the playoffs. After reflecting on the experience, he shared in an earlier interview with Etalk“I coached little league football with my son and all the kids that came and we just had a camaraderie.”

The actor’s dedication to both his career and his family highlights his love for creating lasting memories with his children while remaining actively involved in their lives.
