Chiefs activate Isiah Pacheco (fibula) from injured reserve; RB in line to return on Black Friday vs. Raiders

In Pacheco’s absence, the Chiefs brought back Kareem Hunt, who has become a workhorse for the team. Through eight games, Hunt has emerged as the team’s leading rusher with 577 yards on 155 attempts (3.7 years per carry) with a team-high five rushing touchdowns.

How head coach Andy Reid balances reps will be something to monitor, though it wouldn’t be surprising for Pacheco to see a lighter load as he gets back to game form and perhaps ramps up down the stretch.

Through his first two games of the season, Pacheco tallied 34 carries for 135 yards and a TD.

While it remains to be seen how quickly Pacheco returns to form, his impending return to the lineup is a boon for the Chiefs as the games get bigger and bigger each week.
