Everything Rutgers fans need to know about the Illinois game on Senior Day

Will Senior Day be a special day for Rutgers?

The Scarlet Knights (6-4, 3-4) host the No. 24 Illinois (7-3, 4-3) in Piscataway on Saturday. The contest will be the final home game of the 2024 season for head coach Greg Schiano’s program and will give them a chance to set multiple program marks.

Rutgers has never won three straight Big Ten games, never won four Big Ten games in a season and hasn’t beaten a ranked team in 15 years, losing its last 40 meetings with teams in the Associated Press Top 25- the vote.
