That means walk-on Jackson Stratton, who made a second-half cameo last time out at UCLA, will likely be Iowa’s starting quarterback Saturday. Who will be his backup is still undecided.

On the other hand, Maryland (4-6, 1-6) is trying to find a way to a bowl game after losing five of its last six. Its most recent stumble came last week in a 31-17 home loss to Rutgers.
