Tennessee football takes a breather from SEC play with Saturday’s game against UTEP at Neyland Stadium.

The Vols (8-2, 5-2) are coming off a 31-17 loss to Georgia last week that puts their SEC title and CFP hopes in doubt.

Tennessee’s CFP hopes, assuming it takes care of business on Saturday, will come down to next week’s game at Vanderbilt and help from a few other teams.

UTEP (2-8) has struggled in first-year coach Scotty Walden’s debut, though it won in overtime over Kennesaw State two weeks ago before an open date last weekend.

Tennessee vs. UTEP will broadcast nationally via streaming on ESPN+ and SEC Network+ in Week 13 of the 2024 college football season. Lowell Galindo and Fozzy Whittaker will call the game from the stands at Neyland Stadium, with Marilyn Payne reporting from the sidelines.
