CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – The postseason continues this week with Round 2 of the playoffs for SCHSL teams and the state championship games for SCISA teams. Check back here throughout the weekend for results, highlights and more!

SCHSL – 2nd round

5A-Division 1

Summerville 36, Ft. Dorchester 13 – Live 5 match of the week – The Green Wave improve to 11-0 on the season and advance to the 3rd round where they host Ridge View on Friday. The Patriots season ends at 6-6

Ridge View 22, Cane Bay 15 – The Cobras season ends at 3-8

James Island 31, Carolina Forest 21 – The Trojans got a pair of TD passes from Connor Dantzler to James Hurteau to cap the upset on the road. They travel to Sumter for Round 3 on Friday after improving to 9-3

Sumter 55, Ashley Ridge 24

5A-Division 2

Berkeley 36, Westwood 0 – The Stags advance to Round 3 and host White Knoll on Friday

4A

Gilbert 36 at Bishop England 30 – The Bishops season ends at 9.-3

3A

Loris 28, Hanahan 21 – The Hawks season ends at 6-6

Oceanside Collegiate 36, Waccamaw 6 – The Landsharks host Dillon in Round 3 on Friday

2A

Barnwell 21, Timberland 0 – The Wolves season ends at 8-4

Philip Simmons 40, Kingstree 24 – The Iron Horses go to 10-2 and travel to Manning for Round 3 on Friday

1A

Cross 56, Ridgeland 0 – Karmello Jones scored a pair of early TDs to lead the Trojans to victory. They will host Hannah-Pamplico in Round 3 on Friday

Bamberg-Ehrhardt 36, Baptist Hill 20 – The Bobcats season ends at 7-4

SCISA – State Championship Game

4A

Hammond 28, Porter-Guad 21 – JJ Fludd scored 2 TDs but Hammond would score the game winning TD with under a minute left to give the Skyhawks their 8th straight state championship. Porter-Gaud’s season ends at 11-2
