ForbesToday’s ‘Wordle’ #1252 Hints, Clues and Answer for Friday November 22nd

The weekend has arrived and it looks like we’ll be getting some nice weather leading into Thanksgiving week. The high here on Friday was 62, which is very pleasant, especially since we’ve already had two snowstorms and well below freezing weather in the past few weeks. On Turkey Day, of course, the high level will have dropped twenty degrees, but it’s just a good excuse to stay in and play cards, eat good food and watch a football match or two.

For now, let’s solve this Wordle!

Well, I certainly wasn’t as lucky today as I was yesterday, but I did my level best. My opening guess comes from a curious place. I recently wrote my review of the new Netflix series A man on the insidee, and in that show the main character (played by Ted Danson) reads. Smiley’s people by John le Carré. I guess the “smile” part stuck in my head and was a decent enough starting word, although the rest of my guesses left something to be desired. BREAD, in particular, was not a good second guess and definitely set me back. NEW cut the remaining 5 possible solutions down to just one, though: JELLY for the win! Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time!
