Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 129-117 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.

Milwaukee started the game with a 10-0 run and led by as many as 25 points in the second half. The Pacers briefly cut the deficit to six points in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to get any closer before suffering the loss.

The Bucks ultimately secured the victory because of their star duo, as Antetokounmpo and Lillard both thrived against Indiana’s defense.

Antetokounmpo recorded his second triple-double of the season, scoring 37 points and dishing out 11 assists while pulling down 10 rebounds. Lillard chipped in with 24 points and 12 assists of his own, shot 8-20 from the field and connected on three triples.

The pair showcased their chemistry on several occasions during the competition, leaving fans stunned.

Tyrese Haliburton hit just two of his seven shot attempts through the first two quarters, but he came back in the second half and finished the night with 18 points and nine assists on 6-14 shooting.

The game also featured NBA Cup implications as both teams are in Group B of the Eastern Conference teams. The Bucks improved to 2-0 in the NBA Cup standings and the Pacers dropped to 0-2.

After opening the season with a 2-8 record, head coach Doc Rivers’ team has now won five of its last six games.
