John Krasinski named People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2024

John Krasinski is People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2024.

The magazine announced its annual Sexiest Man Alive issue, which includes an interview with the actor exclusively for People.

Upon hearing the news that he was named Sexiest Man Alive, the actor told People that he thought he was being “punked.”

“Just instant blackout,” he said. “Zero thoughts. Except maybe I’ll get punked. It’s not like I usually wake up and think, ‘Is this the day I get asked to be the sexiest man alive?’ And yet, the day you did it, you really raised the bar for me.”

In his interview with the magazine, he talked about his life as an actor, including his roles as Jim Halpert from “The office,” and his work in “A Quiet Place,” which he wrote, directed and starred in with his actress wife Emily Blunt.

Krasinski said that working with Blunt was “one of the most exciting processes I’ve ever had because I’d never worked with Emily.”

The actor said he met Blunt in 2008 at a restaurant and as soon as he shook her hand, he said he “just knew” it was her.

When he told Blunt he was named Sexiest Man Alive, he said she was “very excited.”

“There was a lot of joy involved in me telling her,” he said.

They have been married for 14 years and share two daughters: Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8.

Krasinski said what he loves most about being a father to his daughters is “how much you learn.”

“You just have these incredible wells of curiosity and emotion and questions coming from someone of the opposite sex,” he said. “When they ask me (about) the guy’s perspective, it’s pretty funny because I’m actually the only guy in our family, including our dog.”

“It’s a phenomenal thing to get to be in this family and be a father,” he added. “It has changed my life completely.”
