Shane Gillis Announces 2025 Global Comedy Tour

Hot on the heels of a sold-out eight-city arena tour this year, comedian Shane Gillis is on the road again.

The stand-up megastar will kick off the new year with “Shane Gillis Live,” a 27-city tour that kicks off Jan. 10 at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center. Marking his biggest tour yet, Gillis is set to hit some of the biggest venues in North America and Europe, including Dallas’ American Airlines Center and London’s O2.

Gillis’ tour, in partnership with Outback Presents, includes stops at arenas such as Tampa’s Amalie Arena and Dublin’s 3Arena. The airings come on the heels of Gillis’ Netflix special “Beautiful Dogs,” which landed in the Netflix Top 10 in five countries and spent two weeks on the US Top 10 chart. Gillis also hosted “Saturday Night Live” in February.

The comedian was famously hired and then fired from “Saturday Night Live” in 2019 after offensive jokes he previously made on a podcast resurfaced online. But he stayed in touch with “SNL” creator Lorne Michaels, who revealed in a Wall Street Journal interview last month that he was “angry” about the decision to fire Gillis, which was made by NBC brass. Michaels brought Gillis back to “SNL” for the hosting gig in Season 49.

Since hitting the career speed bump, the Pennsylvania native has transformed into a force in the stand-up space. His self-financed debut “Shane Gillis: Live in Austin” became a breakout hit for Netflix with more than 30 million views. His 2023 Netflix sequel, “Beautiful Dogs,” was produced by All Things Comedy and Gillis’ production company, Dad Sick Productions, which he runs with longtime Philadelphia comedy partner and fellow John McKeever.

Gillis also stars in the Netflix comedy series “Tires,” which Gillis co-created with McKeever. He is currently working on Season 2 and continues to host “Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast” with comedian Matt McCusker. The show is the #1 Patreon podcast in the world, with more than 500 million downloads each month.

Gillis is repped by CAA, Range Media and the law firm Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
