BSTN is no stranger to celebrating Air Jordan releases with expansive, creative campaigns, and the store’s latest effort sees it team up with and FAT International to celebrate the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue.” In a campaign as icy as the shoe’s transparent outsole, the two brands have teamed up to create a bespoke Porsche 911 Dakar that reflects the sneaker’s iconic design while spotlighting the FC Bayern Munich star. Leroy Sané as the campaign’s headline.

In particular, the BSTN takes the Air Jordan 11 far beyond the basketball court. In partnership with FAT International – a trend-setting motorsport brand led by Ferdi Porsche – the campaign celebrates the sneaker’s icy blue detailing and checkerboard carbon fiber pattern through a bespoke paint job at the Dakar. The car’s design pays homage to Tinker Hatfield’s legendary 1996 creation, which debuted at the NBA All-Star Game and remains a cultural touchstone.

“I am very hyped about this project. I’ve always been a huge sneakerhead, so to be a part of this campaign between a brand that brought out some of my favorite kicks and my local store growing up in Munich is a full circle moment,” shared Ferdi Porsche, in a comment to Hypebeast, adds “MJ is known for his love of racing and cool cars too – so I think FAT Jumpman is a thing!”

With a new twist, the collaboration will see the Porsche 911 Dakar take part in the 2025 Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria. Set against the frosty backdrop of February’s winter wonderland, the run stands in stark contrast to the Air Jordan XI’s original Texas sun-drenched debut.
