Hailey Bieber Subtly Shows Selena Gomez Support

The model and Rhode founder, 28, “liked” Gomez’s Instagram on Wednesday, Dec. 11, where she shared the happy news of her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.

It is in the photo carousel Emilia Perez star, 32, included a close-up of her marquise diamond ring as well as a snap of her and Blanco, 36, embracing with the caption “forever begins now..” She also shared a photo of the proposal setting, which included a beige picnic blanket and several boxes of Taco Bell, which is known to be the singer’s favorite.

Blanco commented on the post: “hey wait … that’s my wife.”

Gomez and Blanco had known each other for years after collaborating on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin before they started dating in June 2023.

In August 2023, Gomez released the Blanco-produced track “Single Soon”. In December 2023, she confirmed their relationship when she liked fan account posts on Instagram of the couple, even commenting, “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” on one. They made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Emmys in January.

In September 2022, Hailey addressed ongoing rumors of a feud between herself and Gomez during a conversation on Alex Cooper’s podcast. The model told Cooper that it’s “not (her) character to mess with someone’s relationship,” and said it’s “total love” between her and Gomez.

“I can say, period, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody — that’s the end of it,” Hailey explained of the timeline of her relationship with now-husband Justin Bieber, 30.

Gomez and Justin started dating in late 2010 but broke up in 2016. The two rekindled their romance in October 2017, but it was short-lived. In September 2018, Justin and Hailey were married in a civil ceremony in New York and a year later celebrated with a larger ceremony in Bluffton, SC
