Christina Aguilera poses almost naked to mark her 44th birthday

Christina Aguilera is leaving nothing behind as she turns another year older.

On Wednesday, December 18, the singer posted a nearly nude black and white photo of herself on Instagram to mark her 44th birthday.

The sexy side profile shot of the artist shows her posing in front of a white background as she covers her breasts with her right arm and squats while gently holding her legs with her left arm.

Aguilera wore nothing but high stiletto heels, a black undergarment and a matching beret on top of her hair, which was styled in large curls. She wrote the text for the post “Birthday Suit #44.”

The sexy look is similar to Aguilera’s style in the 2010 musical Burlesque. In it, she plays an aspiring singer named Ali, who moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams and begins working at a burlesque lounge run by Tess (Cher).

Sexuality is not something that the musician – who is co-founder and chief brand advisor for the sexual wellness brand Playground – has ever strayed away from.

“This has been a very comfortable and natural space for me to enter because (sexuality) has been such a big part of my life, my world, my music,” Aguilera shared. ADWEEK in February.

“I’ve personally experienced the double standards (imposed on women); and I’ve been shamed for being open, for expressing myself sexually and trying to own my body, and for trying to empower other women,” she continued. “People are afraid of it.”
