Krispy Kreme is spreading Christmas cheer this week with its annual “The Day of the Dozens” promotion.

On Thursday, December 12, the donut chain is offering customers a free dozen Original Glazed donuts with the purchase of a dozen at regular price.

The deal is available in-store and through the drive-thru only, and there is a limit of two free dozens per customer at participating stores, the company said in a news release Monday.

The donut chain’s Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection, which was announced last month, is still available for purchase for a limited time.

What donuts are available in the Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection?

Each donut in the collection is based on a character from the Christmas classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” It also has two returning doughnuts: the Santa Belly Donut and the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut.

The new donuts in the collection include:

  • Grinch Donut: An unglazed donut filled with “charcoal” Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in Grinch green frosting with a chocolate frosted smiley grin and buttercream hair.
  • Grinchy Claus Donut: An original glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze, topped with white buttercream, Christmas crispies and Grinch piece.
  • Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut: An original glazed donut dipped in strawberry flavored glaze with a green buttercream tree, festively sprinkled and topped with a star piece.

The donut collection is available in a limited edition, customized Grinch dozen box, according to the donut chain.

Customers can also get a limited-time Krispy Kreme dozen or 6-pack of Grinch donut, Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree donut, Santa Belly donut and Holiday Sprinkle donut delivered fresh daily to select grocery stores. Here you can find a store or grocery store near you.
