RFK Jr.’s lawyer Aaron Siri wants the government to revoke polio vaccine approval

Okay, so the non-billionaire truck salesman was good for a laugh or two, but the charlatan hiring hall being used to fill the incoming administration will get people killed. From New York Times:

The lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in choosing federal health officials for the incoming Trump administration, has asked the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, which for decades has protected millions of people from a virus that can cause paralysis or death. That campaign is just one front in the war being waged by the lawyer, Aaron Siri against vaccines of any kind.

Mr. Siri has also filed a petition seeking to halt the distribution of 13 other vaccines; challenged, and in some cases overturned, Covid vaccine mandates around the country; sued federal agencies for release of records related to vaccine approvals; and subjected prominent vaccine researchers to harrowing video recordings. … In the Trump transition headquarters in Florida, Mr. Siri joined Mr. Kennedy in interviewing and selecting candidates for top health posts, according to a person who observed the interactions but insisted on anonymity to reveal private conversations. They have asked candidates about their views on vaccines, the person said.

A relative NEW history claimed that vaccines had been so effective in eliminating childhood diseases that generations of medical students have come through the pipeline who have no memory of what life was like without the vaccines, what it was like when measles or whooping cough ran rampant among the nation’s children. Polio also affected thousands of children, but it also hit adults hard, like that Roosevelt guy. And my mother, who spent a year in an iron lung, which ignited in her a distrust of doctors that she never lost. But I remember how happy she was when the news of the Salk vaccine broke, and how enthusiastically she sent me to the pediatrician for the first of many lifelong shots, the latest of which happened two weeks ago.

Like Mr. Kennedy insists Mr. Siri that he does not want to take vaccines from anyone who wants them. “You want to get the vaccine — this is America, a free country,” he told Arizona lawmakers last year after expressing his concerns about the vaccines against polio and other diseases. He did not mention the petitions he has filed on behalf of ICAN (Informed Consent Action Network) with the Food and Drug Administration, asking the authorities to withdraw or suspend the approval of vaccines, not only for poliobut also for hepatitis B. Mr. Siri also represents ICAN in petition The FDA will “pause the distribution” of 13 other vaccines, including combination products covering tetanus, diphtheria, polio and hepatitis A, until their manufacturers disclose details about aluminum, an ingredient researchers has associated with a small increase in asthma cases.

When did this country become so suspicious of everything it once did right?
