CoryxKenshin returns to YouTube after a one-year hiatus

CoryxKenshin, aka Cory Kenshin, one of YouTube’s most popular game creators, is back on the platform after over a year of silence.

The 28-year-old YouTuber, known for his horror games, humorous comments and the series ‘Spooky Scary Sunday’, surprised fans on December 13, 2024 with a long-awaited video revealing his secret project.

Cory, who boasts more than 19 million subscribers, previously made headlines with a brief appearance in Blumhouse’s 2023 ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ film. However, after that he went completely silent on social media, leaving his fan base eager to updates.

In his long-awaited comeback video, Cory explained that he had spent his hiatus working on a new manga series titled ‘Monsters We Make’.

Described as a sci-fi epic, the series features battles between alien monsters and humans. Along with the announcement, an animated trailer was revealed showcasing its intriguing premise. The official release is set for December 16, 2024, and fans can sign up on the manga’s website for updates.

After being absent from content creation for over a year, CoryxKenshin reassured his fans, saying, “Praise God, it’s good to finally be back.” He also referenced a funny encounter at a zoo in August when fans, excited about his return, had joked about his absence.

Although his long hiatus led many to speculate about his retirement, his return with a new project signals an exciting new chapter for the creator, with his manga debut just around the corner.
