Morgan Wallen sentenced after guilty plea in chair-throwing case

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year, Morgan Wallen, has entered into a plea deal for throwing a chair from the top of a Broadway bar in early April.

Wallen pleaded guilty to two counts of reckless endangerment. He is set to serve seven days in a DUI rehab facility along with two years of probation.

This was his first appearance in court to face charges following his arrest on April 7. The 31-year-old singer was arrested after he was seen throwing a chair from the top of Eric Church’s bar Chief’s. It was the bar’s opening weekend.
