Florida State football’s miserable 2024 season ends tonight. The Seminoles can still end it on a high note with a Rivalry Week win over the Florida Gators.

FSU began the season ranked No. 10, but promptly fell out of College Football Playoff contention en route to a 2-9 record. Coach Mike Norvell finally saw his team’s six-game losing streak snapped in last week’s 41-7 rout of Charleston Southern. Freshman quarterback Luke Kromenhoek had his best game, throwing for 209 yards and three touchdowns in his first start.

The UF season began with coach Billy Napier on the hot seat, but that Gators has returned to stay bowl-eligible at 6-5. Florida is coming back-to-back upset winswith last week’s 24-17 win over so – no. 9 Miss Ole as the crown jewel. Freshman QB DJ Lagway threw for 180 yards and two TDs, while running back Montrell Johnson Jr. added 107 yards and a score.
