What you need to know if you’re heading to the game in Texas

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — The Arizona State Sun Devils have completely defied expectations and will contend for the Big 12 title.

The Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship game is set for 10 Arizona time on Saturday, December 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will be broadcast on ABC.

There are a few things fans heading to the game should know to plan ahead:

Tickets

If you buy tickets for the match, here’s how and what you need to know. Tickets are available exclusively on SeatGeek and start at $99 for general sale.

Ticket prices depend on a number of factors, such as time of purchase, seat location and more.

Arizona State also received 7,000 tickets after qualifying for the game that will be distributed through the university’s ticket office.

Student tickets

Each university participating in the conference championship game received 1,500 tickets available only to students, starting at just $69.

These student tickets will be sold through ASU Ticket Office.

Parking

The Big 12 title game will offer four tiers of pre-purchase parking passes. Prices for parking range from $50 to about $350.

Bag policy

AT&T Stadium has a strict clear bag policy in an effort to improve public safety.

Purses are not permitted, but smaller clutch purses that are approximately the size of a hand, no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches are accepted.

Half time performance

The Big 12 announced that three-time Grammy-winning artist NE-YO is set to perform at halftime of the Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship.

Marching bands from both schools will join NE-YO for his performance.
