Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reunite for Thanksgiving

Ben Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner were seen spending Thanksgiving together – and it was all for a good cause!

The former couple teamed up to help feed the homeless community with charity Midnight Mission on Thursday 28 November.

In photos shared via social media, Affleck and Garner, both 52, and other celebrities including Sarah Paulson49 were all smiles as they donned hairnets and rolled up their sleeves to help.

Garner and Affleck, who were married from 2005 to 2018, were joined by their three children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, who also gave up their time to help those less fortunate.

The Midnight Mission was grateful for the support of Garner and Affleck and shared gratitude via his official Instagram page.

“Today we were honored to have Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner join us for the Midnight Mission for Thanksgiving! Their kindness, warmth and dedication brought so much joy to our Skid Row community,” the post’s caption read.

“Thank you, Ben and Jennifer, for serving meals and sharing smiles on this special day. Your compassion reminds us all of the true meaning of Thanksgiving – coming together to support one another.”

Affleck and Garner share an amicable relationship after their split nearly a decade ago. The actress has been supportive during some of Affleck’s most turbulent times, including his recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez55.

“Ben and Jennifer are friends and they have a great co-parenting relationship,” a source told EXCLUSIVELY Us Weekly in August.

The couple has a “mutual understanding that their kids come first,” the insider noted, adding that the exes “also get along really well.”

The insider added that the former couple’s friendly relationship and shared history was helpful as Affleck navigated his split with Lopez.

“There’s a deep level of trust and respect between them,” the source explained, adding that Affleck “has confided in Jen in a lot of ways.”

The insider continued, “Especially lately, when things with J.Lo haven’t been so great in recent months.”

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August after two years of marriage and months of swirling breakup rumors.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer listed the date of separation as April 26, which was three months before she and Affleck celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary.
