During the 2024 training camp, the Lakers facility had plenty of fresh additions. Well, coach JJ Redick was certainly the notable addition. But apart from that, James took a special initiative to add a layer to the training sessions. It was the in-house DJ, who was none other than the superstar’s old friend, Jameel Davis, aka DJ Meel.

So before the Nuggets clash, the DJ blasted one of the songs from Kendrick Lamar’s new album, GNX. The facility’s visuals feature LeBron James, Anthony Davis and other Lakers players grooving to the music while shooting around!

Especially during a pre-Olympics practice game in Paris, where Stephen Curry seemed too tired to repeatedly listen to Lamar’s ‘Not like us’, Bron said confidently, “I love it”, makes a strong case among the Lamar-Drake beef.

Nevertheless, now that Bron has officially stepped away from social media for the time being, he seems to have found a way to suggest songs to his fans.
